My name is Dr. Anat Rappoport,
an Occupational Psychologist Specialist with 20 years of experience.
I studied at the Hebrew University (B.A.) and at the University of Haifa (M.A. and Ph.D.). My doctoral dissertation focused on boredom.
I specialized at the Counseling Center of the University of Haifa, where I assisted students, including those with learning disabilities.
I worked for ten years at the PILAT Institute in assessment, career counseling, and conducting workshops in organizations.
I also served as a Human Resources Manager in start-up companies.
In between, I lectured at academic colleges, teaching a variety of courses in psychology and philosophy.
Between 2010 and 2024, I volunteered at “Amcha” with Holocaust survivors.
In this role, I led a literature and poetry group, participated in discussion groups, and established the library.

Occupational counseling is a short term process, which helps the client to take a decision about the accurate career path. The counseling process is an empowering process which focuses on the clients virtues and strengths. It gives energy and motivation. For the process to succeed, client should be willing to be open with the therapist and do some “homework” in between the sessions.
